From Our Chapter:
Kappa Delta Pi is honored to bestow a maximum of $500 towards the funding of a project that is in line with the mission and goals of the Society. There are currently three types of membership projects that may receive funding: teaching activities, research efforts, and community service. The selected recipient is expected to present the outcome of the project at the New York University Beta Pi Chapter Initiation Ceremony in April 2007.
Who is eligible to apply?
Only active members of Kappa Delta Pi are eligible for the scholarship. Members may submit an application no later than the December 1st deadline.
How is the scholarship distributed?
The Leadership Committee of the NYU Chapter will carefully review all submissions. Recipients will be notified by mail at the beginning of the spring semester, January 2007. Half of the scholarship funding will be provided at the start of the project. The remaining amount will be awarded upon successful completion of the project and after the 10-15 minutes presentation to the KDP community.
